Z.one Color Expression milk_shake leave-in conditioner - I really, really love this product, For a start it smells absolutely gorgeous (probably something to do with the honey and fruit extracts even though I could swear it smells of coconut). It's a simple to use product, you just spray it onto your hair when wet/damp to condition it and add extra moisture to damaged or dehydrated areas. I also use this as a de-tangling spray by spraying a good amount onto the knot and then brushing it out with my Tangle Teezer. I would definitely recommend it - plus the name is pretty cool too!
L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Conditioning Shine Spray - having naturally curly hair means brushing my hair between washes just makes it worse. It goes static, frizzy and frankly unpresentable. So this leave in conditioner helps to smooth my hair and can be ruffled through with my fingers or a brush if my hair is having a particularly good day. It stops any little fly aways and also smells amazing!
Tresemme Heat Protect Mist - this product does exactly what it says in the name. You just spray this on the mid-length and ends of your hair before straightening or curling. It protects from heat and also stops your hair colour from fading whether it's your natural colour or dye your hair.
L'Oreal Studio Line Hot & Smooth - another thing from L'Oreal, and it smells amazing too! I spritz this throughout the layers of my hair before straightening or blow drying and it just protects it and prevents any heat damage. The packaging of this also makes me feel like I'm in a salon!
Ruth Crilly's Colab in New York - this will come as no surprise seeing as I have already raved about this product non-stop ever since I bought it. I know that I can rely on it every single time I use it to make my hair look and feel better without leaving any trace behind. There's now an extreme volume version as well which I may have to try out sometime soon.
Girlz Only Haircare Dry Shampoo in Down Til' Dusk - until I can get my hands on a Colab, I have this dry shampoo sitting on my shelf. This was £1.50 from Tesco and I just needed to restock. I don't use dry shampoo all that much because as soon as I start to feel my hair getting slightly greasy, I have to wash it. But when I'm being very lazy or don't have time to wash my hair, this does the job whilst giving a bit of volume too. (I find dry shampoo is a lot more effective if you spray it in your roots before bed and put your hair in a high top knot overnight.)
Uniq One All In One Hair Treatment - this is a reliable all round hair treatment that claims to have 10 real effects: repair for dry and damaged hair, shine and frizz control, heat protection, silkiness and smoothness, hair colour protection with UVA filters, easier brushing, detangling, long-lasting hairstyle, split end prevention and adds body - whoa that took a while to write out! I was given these samples by my hairdresser to stop my hair from snapping so easily and to strengthen it. It is a great product and although it is hard to assess all 10 things at once I'm pretty sure it does them all. The only thing I found is that it meant I had to wash my hair every day rather than every other day so I only use it when I feel that my hair really needs some more oomph.
L'Oreal Smooth and Polish Smooth Perfector Aqua Serum - some days, I just wake up and I just cannot do anything to my hair. It just will not behave but I don't have the time to wash and dry my hair. This serum smooths down any fly away strands of hair whilst giving a more defined look to curls. And, of course, it smells amazing - I'm beginning to spot a trend here! I just use one pump massaged through my mid-lengths and one through the ends of my hair and there, you're set to go!
We'll be back next week with a (potentially large) haul!
Stay beautiful x
