A few weeks ago we shared our morning skincare routines (read that post here) and this week we decided it was about time that we shared our evening skincare routines with you. There are more products - some that we use regularly and some that we just swap in when we feel like it. Some of these products we have already reviewed so we will put a link next to them to the post as well as a bit of updated information if necessary. Enjoy!
1. Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Cleansing wipes - this is a fairly new product for me as I've only had them for a couple of weeks and have been using one every evening. I think that they do help to reduce the oil levels on my skin when I use them but by the time I get around to midday the next day is built up again so they're not anything miraculous but I haven't been using them for long so maybe the long term results are better. Let me know if any of you have used these for longer than me and what you think of them.
2. Simple Spotless Skin Anti-blemish Moisturiser - read about it here. I really love this moisturiser, especially on winter evenings when my skin feels drier than normal due to the great British weather.
3. Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner - read about it here. Since writing my morning skincare post I have decanted my toner into a spray bottle (the actual bottle is in the picture below) and it is so refreshing. I spray this whenever I feel like it to be honest but it is especially nice in the evenings after a long day.
4. Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Facial Wipes - read about them here. All I need to add is that I will definitely be repurchasing these.
5. Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Wipes - I'm already on my second pot of these and really like them. They exfoliate as well as cleanse and really help to keep breakouts at bay. I definitely recommend these.
6. Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper - read about it here. One of the best things ever. End of.
7. Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel - read about it here. I will also be repurchasing this again soon as I am completely in love with it.

8. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - read about it here.
9. Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-up Remover - this is a really good, efficient eye make-up remover that I may or may not just use for all make-up removing duties. As always with Simple it's kind to your skin but also removes waterproof make-up.
10. Yes To Grapefruit Correct & Repair Brightening Facial Wipes - read about them here. This is the only item that I don't use on a regular basis and will definitely not be repurchasing again as I was quite disappointed with them. However, I may try out the eye cream from this range as I have read some good reviews about it - I will let you know how I get on with it.
11. Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes - these are your classic make-up removing and cleansing 2-in-1 wipe that is kind to your skin and somehow soothes it as well. An all round must have for my skincare draw.

My evening skincare is a more focused on cleansing my skin than the awakening and calming focus of my morning routine. It contains a few more products, some of them the same, and I tend to use the evening time to my advantage when it comes to skincare.
Firstly, usually if I have a shower, I will use my Neutrogena Pore & Shine Daily Scrub. This really leaves my skin feeling refreshed, thoroughly cleansed and smooth. It has a lovely scent of tangerine and lime and for an amazingly low price, is a very good buy. Otherwise, I will use my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (read our review here) alongside my L'Oreal Paris Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. I initially had this as a 'back-up' but thought seen as I had it, why not use it? I wouldn't say it's the best at removing waterproof mascara because it's not very oily but other than that, it does the job.
Now I can say, it's well worth spending time searching for and transferring your toner into a spray bottle. You can buy ready spray-able toners, but it's just as easy to do it yourself, especially if you have a toner you already know and like. My bottle is made up with about two-thirds of this Garnier Soothing Vitamin-Enriched toner, topped up with the end of my Boots Essentials Cucumber facial toner (read about this in my morning skincare). Now on it's own, I found this Garnier toner a little greasy, but in a spray mixed with the other one, it leaves you feeling refreshed and neutralises out any left over cleanser.
Now, to hydrate my skin, I use my Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturiser. I wrote about this here, in our haul post but since then, I have realised maybe it's not the fact that it stings a little, but the fact that it smells a bit strange which makes me dislike it more than I used to. Despite this, I have continued with this product because once it soaks into your skin you don't really notice the smell much. I will also use the Simple Spot Zapper (read more) after cleansing and leave it to soak in before my next step.
So, what do you use in your evening routine? Are there any products that you would recommend?
